United States come off as too arrogant, too powerful, too quick on
the trigger
Since the end of World War II, the foundation of the United
States' foreign policy has been supporting the United Nations,
maintaining alliances and trying to build on the concepts of
cooperative security and international law.
The Bush administration has replaced this policy with
unilaterialsm and pre-emption where America dictates to the world and
uses its unparalleled military and economic might to enforce its
will.
It sometimes appears that Bush disdains diplomacy itself.
