BOSCOBEL, Wis. - When the 13th annual Muskets & Memories Civil War
Re-enactment gets under way today in Boscobel, three film crews will
be on hand - taking footage during the battles as well as off the
field.
The footage is for a documentary film, "Love and Valor" - based on
the book "Love and Valor - Intimate Civil War Letters Between Capt.
Jacob and Emeline Ritner."
The book, edited by Charles F. Larimer, the great, great grandson
of Jacob Ritner, is a compilation of letters, historical reports and
newspaper articles that tell a story of the Civil War, as well as
