Article: Fennimore flying perfect; Poised Eagles fend off feisty Arrows for 11th win

FENNIMORE, Wis. - The cold-blooded Fennimore boys basketball team overcame an off shooting night and a scrappy Lancaster team to remain the TH area's only unbeaten Wisconsin team with a 51-47 victory Tuesday night in a non-conference matchup.

Fennimore, ranked No. 5 in Wisconsin Division 3, moved to 11-0 on the season. Lancaster fell to 2-9.

"These guys don't get rattled," Fennimore coach Mark Fifrick said of his squad.

"In tight games you know they're going to make good decisions and play with poise. Our experience helps."

That experience comes in the form of 10 seniors on the Golden Eagle roster, anchored by Kevin Everson, Eric Swan, Derek Hubbard, Billy Lease and Trevor Prochaska.
