Earl W. Cook, 84, of Asotin, Wash., died Sunday, April 2, 2006, at
home.
Visitation will be from Sunday, April 9, 3-7 p.m. at Miller
Funeral Home, East Dubuque. Services will be held Monday, April 10,
at 10 a.m. at Miller Funeral Home with Pastor Chris St. Clair
officiating. Burial will be at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery,
Bellevue, Iowa.
Mr. Cook was born on April 27, 1921 in Kimball, S.D., son of
William E. and Marie C. (Weber) Cook. He married Betti Merrit on
April 7, 1943 in Long Beach, Calif.
He served in the Navy during World War II and was employed at the
Dubuque Packing Company for 38 years, retiring as superintendent in
1982.
Mr. Cook was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed ...
