Article: More Bad News for Those With Male-Pattern Baldness

A study of nearly 900 Italian factory workers has found that
those with male pattern baldness-hair loss on the crown and a
receding hairline-tend to have higher cholesterol levels and blood
pressure readings than their hirsute counterparts.
But researchers from the State University of New York at Buffalo
School of Medicine who presented their findings recently at the
annual meeting of the American Heart Association, said they do not
know whether the bald men actually suffered higher rates of heart
disease. That will be the subject of a future study.
The finding is the latest from the Olivetti Longitudinal Study,
