D-Backs try and salvage finale in San Francisco
(Sports Network) - The Arizona Diamondbacks will try to avoid
their first series sweep of the season when they play San Francisco
this afternoon in the finale of a three-game set at AT&T Park.
Arizona lost the first two games of the series and suffered a 3-2
loss on Saturday. Shawn Green and Eric Byrnes each drove in a run
for the Diamondbacks, while Luis Vizcaino was saddled with the loss.
Vizcaino gave up Moises Alou's home run in the bottom of the ninth
inning.
The Diamondbacks will send ace right-hander Brandon Webb against
the Giants in the series finale.
Webb is aiming for his fourth win in as many starts and tossed a
