Prince George's County Executive Parris N. Glendening, who
frequently refers to himself as unabashedly pro-development, lost
little time getting to the point recently in remarks to a group of
visitors to the county. "You should invest in Prince George's
County," he declared moments after beginning his remarks.
"Some of you who have heard me speak before claim that I have a
tendency to get a little long-winded," Glendening joked. "If that's
still too long for some of you," he said after making a summary of
his remarks available, "let me make that abstract even briefer:
"Invest, invest, invest in Prince George's County!"
