Neither of the young actors in Stage Right's two-woman cast of
"Always ... Patsy Cline" is old enough to remember the legendary
country music singer whose life was cut short at age 30 by a plane
crash in 1963.
But both Renata Marino and Tara Geisler say they were eager to
fill the roles of the singer and her best friend, Louise Seger,
respectively, once they heard the music in the play.
"I'm not much of a country music fan, however, I love Patsy
Cline," Marino says. The actress first listened to Cline's recordings
on a CD that came with the script and discovered "they're beautiful
songs. I thought that I'm so lucky and happy to be working on this."
