Article: Vote for the best WPIAL players

To help celebrate the 100th anniversary of the WPIAL, the Tribune- Review is asking its readers to vote for the top 10 players in league history at nine different positions.

The first category of voting -- offensive linemen -- confirmed what was already generally accepted -- Bill Fralic of Penn Hills is the best. Nearly 500 votes were cast in a 48-hour span through Tuesday afternoon, and Fralic drew 124 votes, exactly twice the amount of the No. 2 lineman, former Pitt teammate Jimbo Covert of Freedom High School.
