Playing a desperate team on its own field can be dangerous.

That wasn't the case Friday night at Waynesburg's Raider Field.

Jeannette showed no mercy in defeating Waynesburg, 42-14, in an Interstate Conference game. The victory clinches a playoff spot for Jeannette (5-1, 5-1) and seriously damages Waynesburg's hopes of making the postseason.

Jeannette looked and played like a team on a mission. The Jayhawks' offense was nearly flawless.

The Jayhawks scored on five of their first six possessions and built a 35-0 lead early in the third quarter.
