Visit the rifle range at the Dormont-Mt. Lebanon Sportsmen's Club at most times of the year and, unless there's a special shoot going on, you'll find plenty of elbow room.

This weekend is the exception.

With the start of Pennsylvania's two-week firearms deer season just a week away -- it runs Nov. 27 to Dec. 9 -- the club opened its range yesterday and today to anyone wanting to sight in their rifle. Hunters, as they always do, flocked in like swallows returning to Capistrano.
