Tonight Super Bowl XLI will take place in Miami, Fla., when the
Indianapolis Colts meet the Chicago Bears.
Though 17 years have passed since New Eagle native and Ringgold
High School graduate Joe Montana last played in a Super Bowl, his
name remains firmly entrenched in this colossal game's record books.
The local legend, who had his scholastic alma mater's football
stadium named in his honor last fall, still owns Super Bowl career
records for completions (83), yards (1,142), quarterback efficiency
rating (127.8) and touchdown passes with 11. His 68.8 Super Bowl
career completion percentage is second behind Dallas' Troy Aikman and
