Article: Penguins officials to meet with Hill District residents

A group of Hill District residents and church leaders who want a share of the revenues from a new Penguins arena and guaranteed jobs for minorities plans to meet Friday with team officials for the first time, City Councilwoman Tonya Payne said today.

The city-county Sports & Exhibition Authority is expected to host the gathering in its Regional Enterprise Tower offices, Downtown.

Mayor Luke Ravenstahl and Allegheny County Chief Executive Dan Onorato are expected to attend. SEA Executive Director Mary Conturo couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
