Article: Reworked 'Games of Steel' gains clarity, strength

Attack Theatre's "Games of Steel," a dance-rock opera that premiered in Pittsburgh in 2005, returns to town after a major reworking followed by a seven-city American tour that prompted Dance Magazine to call the show "ever-entertaining and hellishly fun."

Michelle de la Reza and her husband, Peter Kope, co-directors of Attack Theatre, created "Games of Steel" with their collaborators including company musical director David Eggar. She feels the story is clearer, and the music and dance are stronger in the revised version.
