Article: Brewers barrel over Pirates

MILWAUKEE -- Pirates manager Jim Tracy is a talkative guy, who often gives long, eloquent answers to reporters' questions.

But even Tracy was left practically speechless by Friday night's 10-0 loss against the Milwaukee Brewers.

"There's not a whole lot to say," Tracy said to start his postgame press conference. "They did some things offensively, but we didn't pitch well and we didn't score. They beat the hell out of us."

The Pirates managed just six hits -- all singles -- and only one runner made it as far as third base.

It was the Pirates' worst shutout loss since May 13, 2002, when they absorbed an 11-0 beating against Arizona.
