The new Mid-Atlantic Hockey League (MAHL) announced Tuesday that
Indiana will join the league in its inaugural season set to start in
October.
Andrew Haines, league president, made the announcement that S&T
Bank Arena at the White Township Recreation Complex will be the home
of one of the league's franchise teams. Indiana joins Mon Valley and
other teams to be announced at a later date in the Inaugural Season.
A name for the new Indiana team has not yet been decided. A
contest is being held on the MAHL Web site to select a name for the
new Indiana franchise. The winner of the contest will receive four
free season tickets.
