It's a Dog's Life; Wegman's Artful Weimaraners

You probably know who William Wegman is, even if you don't think you do.

Wegman is the artist and photographer famous for dressing up Weimaraners -- sleek, gray dogs -- in clothes and taking pictures of them.

Yeah! That's William Wegman. His photos are on calendars and notecards, and they hang in museums. (A Smithsonian American Art Museum exhibit begins in July.) Wegman recently spoke with Newsday reporter Steve Dollar about his dogs.

Did you know when you got your first dog that Weimaraners were so photogenic?
