The "I Love Walnuts!" Recipe Contest is a national competition in
search of the best walnut recipes in the nation, sponsored by the
California Walnut industry. Registered dietitian and Food Network
celebrity Ellie Krieger is partnering in the contest, which aims to
make favorite dishes more healthful. All walnut recipes are eligible;
if home cooks want to improve the nutrient content of their recipes,
Krieger has tips on doing so on the Web site.
The competition is an online entry-only project; entries can be
submitted through Aug. 10. Registered contestants will be able to
rate recipes submitted by other contestants -- this will not affect
