IT WAS opened by the Queen amid a global fanfare of publicity.
Even the French admitted the new St Pancras International was one of
the world's finest railway stations after its Pounds 800 million
restoration.
But almost three weeks on from the glittering ceremony and 12
days since Eurostar services began operating from their new London
terminal many passengers say they are deeply disappointed by the
standard of facilities.
Although much of the hype has centred on the 315ft champagne bar
the world's longest passengers complain that more basic services
are not up to scratch.
