The atmosphere at Carpaccio Ristorante Italiano may leave a little to be desired, but the food most certainly does not. The chef- owned restaurant at 3 Lebanon St. offers traditional Italian fare with unusual ingredients, many of which are from local farms, to give the dishes a fresh twist: beef tenderloin with capers and black truffle oil, black squid ink noodles with smoked mussels, or goat cheese-stuffed figs wrapped in wild boar bacon.
