6th LD: Plane with 54 people aboard crashes in Turkey, wreckage found

ANKARA, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- A Turkish plane with 54 people aboard crashed in central Turkey at early hours on Friday, a Turkish private NTV reported.

Turkey's Anatolia news agency quoted Isparta Governor SemsettinUzun as saying that there were 49 passengers and five crew on board. The plane belonging to the private airline company AtlasJetair disappeared between 01:45 and 02:00 local time.

Uzun said that passenger plane crashed near Cukuroren village of Keciborlu town of Isparta province in central Turkey, adding that the Turkish fighter plane has found the wreckage of the plane.
