OLYMPIA -- It might have been somewhat dark in South Puget
Sound's gym by the time the Clippers' game with Yakima Valley ended
Saturday night.
That's because the Yaks shot the proverbial lights out,
connecting on 71 percent of their field goal attempts in a 111-87
rout
Anthony Johnson scored a game-high 25 points, hitting 10 of 11
shots, and Ben Wilson added 17 on 8 of 10 shooting.
Collectively, YVCC (6-1) made 48 of 86 shots while SPS was 31 for
75 (.413).
Nico Sandoval had 11 points and Mario Allen 10 for Yakima Valley,
which led 58-38 at halftime. The Yaks outrebounded South Puget Sound
