The Milwaukee Art Museum is offering free tickets to members of a
Facebook group that formed to "save" Tony Oursler's "MMPI (Self-
Portrait in Yellow)" from a fate in the storage vault.
The beloved piece, which the online social networking group calls
"the guy with a chair on his head," will be stored away along with
several other works to make way for a reorganization of the museum's
contemporary galleries, a longstanding show called "Sensory
Overload."
The new exhibit will feature work from the museum's collection,
including an electric rosebush, a 15-foot-high pyramid of antique
TVs, the walk-in "Infinity Chamber" by Stanley Landsman, a room full
of hanging blue glow sticks called ...
