7th LD: Plane crashes in Turkey, killing 54 people aboard

ANKARA, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- A Turkish plane with 54 people aboard crashed in central Turkey at early hours on Friday, a Turkish private NTV reported.

NTV quoted Tuncay Doganer, chief executive of the private airline company AtlasJetair, as saying "no one was saved aboard."

Turkey's Anatolia news agency quoted Isparta Governor SemsettinUzun as saying that there were 49 passengers and five crew on board. The plane belonging to the private airline company AtlasJetair disappeared between 01:45 and 02:00 local time.
