MILLERSBURG -- Holmes County commissioners concluded county
budget hearings Thursday and sat down with an insurance consultant
to discuss its health care options.
"It's been a year, I'm telling you what," said Director for
Holmes County Emergency Management Gary Mellor.
After a busy year, Holmes County Emergency Management is
proposing a standard 3 percent increase in salary for employees and
are on track to receive a federal Emergency Management Performance
grant for $7,073.
"I was surprised to see it," Mellor said.
The county will have to match the grant dollar for dollar, he
said.
"The bulk of it would probably go towards planning," Mellor said.
