Calderon criticizes U.S. presidential candidates for "anti- Mexican"sentiment

MEXICO CITY, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- Mexican President Felipe Calderon criticized the U.S. presidential candidates on Wednesday for their "anti-Mexican" campaign rhetoric.

In an interview with a local radio network, Calderon said thereis a "serious" problem with the candidates since they wanted to blame Mexico for their political and economic "woes."

The candidates "have placed Mexicans as (political) hostages inthe United States," Calderon said.
