People usually hire a personal trainer for one of two reasons:
They're new to exercise and don't know where to begin, or they're
fit and want to take their workout to the next level.
Either way, choosing a personal trainer who is right for you is
an important part of the process.
Sarah Forck, owner of One on One Personal Training in Columbia,
said a personal trainer can provide motivation, professional
expertise and personalized attention in helping a person reach her
health and fitness goals.
"It's not like an exercise class where the instructor has to
divide her time between members," she said. "The entire focus is on
you for the entire time."
