In the second installment of the multimedia series My West Virginia, we look back a few weeks to the first induction ceremony for the new West Virginia Music Hall of Fame, held Nov. 16 at the Cultural Center in Charleston.

West Virginia Public Broadcasting had a crew of seven cameras on hand in the Cultural Center theater to broadcast the two-hour ceremony live. The evening was hosted by L.A. performer and Charleston native Ann Magnuson, who got things off to a memorable start, cutting loose with a West Virginia "yeee-haawwww!" you could have heard all the way to Lee Street.
