When trying to piece together the puzzle of nutrition causes or prevention of cancer, we need to discern good evidence from not-so- good evidence.

Questions to ask of research studies include: how many people were in the study (the minimum number should be 100); how long was something studied; and is the study reproducible? Other questions include: What does the one-sentence conclusion really mean and what do we do with it?
