Hull City Council's deputy chief executive Jan Ormondroyd is to
leave her post, having landed a new job in Bristol.
Mrs Ormondroyd will take over the role of chief executive at
Bristol City Council next Easter.
She arrived at the Guildhall in July last year on a pounds120,000-
a-year salary. Her new job comes with a pounds180,000 salary
package.
During her time in Hull she has been responsible for overseeing
performance management duties, in what has been a largely behind-
the-scenes role.
However, June's floods saw her play a leading part in the
council's response and subsequent recovery programme.
