The owners of the Class AA Hagerstown Suns and Class A Frederick
Keys, both affiliated with the Baltimore Orioles, are seeking a Class
AAA expansion franchise for the Annapolis-Bowie area, Suns and Keys
majority owner Peter Kirk said yesterday.
Kirk said if he and his partners, Terry Randall and Hugh
Schindel, are awarded one of two Class AAA teams that will be added
in conjunction with the National League's expansion by two teams in
1993, it "is certainly possible" the Orioles would make the new team
