Eric Dickerson and the Indianapolis Colts patched up their
differences today, the star running back signing a four-year contract
extension.
Dickerson will take a physical on Monday and is scheduled to
practice on Tuesday. He is expected to play against Denver on Oct.
21. Indianapolis is off Sunday.
"It's been a long haul," Dickerson said. "I'm glad it's behind
me. I like to keep the past behind me."
Dickerson said he felt fine and anticipated no problems passing
Monday's physical.
Dickerson, his attorney and advisers reached the agreement in a
meeting with owner Robert Irsay, Colts attorney Michael Chernoff and
General Manager Jim Irsay.
