Giving a symphonic rush to Led Zeppelin

Who better to emcee a celebration of the legendary Led Zeppelin than an artist with a gold record who is an avowed Led-head and sings like Robert Plant?

Randy Jackson of the '80s near-metal group Zebra leads a four- piece rock band and 50 members of the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra on a voyage through the Zeppelin catalog Saturday night at Route 66 Casino. Conducting is film composer Brent Havens, the mastermind behind "The Music of Led Zeppelin," who has meticulously scored each number. This is the touring production's New Mexico premiere.
