Pod People Manzano Day School fourth-graders turn their lessons into Podcasts

Classroom lessons from Manzano Day School are hitting the Internet this year, with fourth-graders leading the charge. Teacher Kelly Bauer last year won a $3,000 Classroom Innovation grant from Public Service Company of New Mexico to implement the "Joy in Learning" Podcasting at the school.

"They get really excited about that," said Bauer, who has a class of 18 students at the Old Townarea private school. "They actually have a worldwide audience. They don't just do it for the teacher to look at."
