Richardson Needs To Leave New Mexico Out of It

A good-humored Texan comes to mind when I think of all the people who likely aren't terribly impressed when Bill Richardson repeatedly, often clumsily, prefaces responses to questions on the U.S. presidential campaign trail with boasts about what he has accomplished as New Mexico governor.

Being governor of New Mexico rounds out Richardson's rsum that is impressive enough to command attention anywhere. Richardson might have the best rsum taken into a presidential race, at least in modern times, colorful Democratic guru James Carville remarked on national television weeks ago.
