Article: Progress, but no locker room yet for ISU

NORMAL - It's not wins or losses that will get the locker room back for Illinois State's basketball team.

"As soon as I think everyone cares for each other and proves it, they will get their privileges back," ISU coach Tom Richardson said Wednesday during his weekly news conference. "The main thing we want is to get the players closer together.

"When one guy is down, we need 13 guys picking him up. We weren't getting that. This is a weird team because they are very close friends. I think they are afraid of stepping on each other's toes. A team must have accountability and ownership within its group.
