State Sen. Dan Rutherford may have been waiting for the wrong
crowd to speak up over his proposal to have home-school parents
register with public school officials.
The Chenoa senator said he was dropping his proposal for voluntary
registration because of a lack of support among home-school groups.
That lack of support isn't surprising. They don't want government
intervention.
