Article: Get a sample of this Lincoln Avenue festival

CHICAGO -- It may be the "Taste of Lincoln Avenue," but other senses will certainly be tantalized at the popular street festival, running July 24 and July 25.

The 21st annual festival, which covers six blocks of the Wrightwood neighborhood on the north side of the city, features food, live music, crafts and a children's carnival from noon until dusk on Saturday and Sunday.

Four stages will showcase live music from a wide array of musical styles.

Highlights of Saturday's performances include former Allman Brothers guitarist Dickey Betts and Outkast's band, Whild Peach. Sunday features music from Indigenous, Wishbone Ash and Hairbanger's Ball, among others.
