If Cincinnati quarterback Boomer Esiason could pick one man to
take into battle with him in the Super Bowl, it would be the nimble
shortstop on his softball team.
Esiason describes this "incredible" athlete as agile and quick,
capable of acrobatic catches and possessed of an arm so strong that
nobody wants to play first base. "Fireballs," says Esiason of those
pegs. "I have to play first because nobody else can hold him."
Fortunately, Esiason can bring his shortstop with him Sunday.
The little fellow's name is Anthony Mun~oz, and he may be the best
offensive tackle in the history of pro football. Think of Ozzie
Smith in a 6-foot-6, 285-pound body.
