A scream ripped through the night and the men sprung into action.
This was the moment they had been waiting for. Searching for the
mysterious monster known as Bigfoot, they had wired the woods for
sound, and it looked as though their work had paid off.
"We thought this was it," said Mark Opsasnick, a Greenbelt
resident who is the director of the Bigfoot Information Project. The
episode occurred last April when he had joined members of
International Fortean Organization and the Enigma Project in Colonial
Beach, Va., to investigate a report by a family there that claimed to
have seen red-eyed Bigfoot the week before.
