Article: Carle postpones flu shot clinic Shipment of 7,000 doses delayed

BLOOMINGTON - You can still get a flu shot in Central Illinois, even though a major health care provider announced Thursday afternoon that it was postponing its community flu shot clinics.

Carle Clinic in Bloomington - which vaccinated more than 3,000 people against influenza at a public, walk-in clinic last week - postponed its second clinic, scheduled for next Monday through Wednesday, because its next shipment of 7,000 doses has been delayed, director of operations Jim Quinn said.

Quinn expects the vaccine to arrive within two weeks and will reschedule the clinic then.
