Article: Development approval expires in Ellsworth Officials: Acadia Crossing reapplication likely

ELLSWORTH - A Boston-based developer with plans to build a 200,000- square-foot strip mall on Myrick Street has let its conditional approval for the project lapse. It is the second time this year a large-scale retail development company with plans to build in Ellsworth has let its approval lapse.

The company that built The Home Depot store at the site last year intends, however, to reapply for city approval to build the second phase of the Acadia Crossing project, according to officials.
