Article: Rockport Swap Shop gets $5,250 in grants

ROCKPORT - Mid-Coast Solid Waste Corp.'s Swap Shop has been awarded more than $5,000 to pay for a new building.

The Maine State Planning Office and credit card lender MBNA's Maine grants committee approved enough in matching grants for $5,250 to replace the building at 90 Union St.

Permanent shelving and racks, more windows and electricity are included in the new 10-foot by 16-foot wood-framed, cedar-shingled building.
