Article: Wal-Mart explores Ellsworth expansion Supercenter again being considered

ELLSWORTH - Despite the presence of a Supercenter 25 miles away and a previous attempt to build a new 210,000-square-foot store in Ellsworth, Wal-Mart again is considering building a Supercenter in the shire town of Hancock County.

The national discount retailer could end up building a new store on Myrick Street, near the site where four years ago it first proposed to construct a Supercenter in Ellsworth, according to a state official.
