AUGUSTA - When the dust finally settles in Milwaukee at this
week's Green National Convention, former Maine gubernatorial
candidate Patricia LaMarche could emerge as the party's vice-
presidential nominee.
David Cobb, who currently leads all rivals in the delegate count
for the Green Party's presidential nomination, confirmed Wednesday
that the 43-year-old Augusta radio personality is among six potential
candidates he is considering to complete the second half of the
ticket.
The winning candidate must secure the support of more than 50
percent of the party's 800 delegates. Cobb, who currently claims 32
percent of the delegates, plans to announce his choice before
