Article: Co-Op to donate part of profits to Hospice of Hancock County

ELLSWORTH - On Saturday, Jan. 28, the Blue Hill Co-Op will donate 1 percent of the day's sales to Hospice of Hancock County.

Hospice of Hancock County is an all-volunteer, nonmedical hospice care provider founded in 1980. A staff of four and more than 130 dedicated and knowledgeable volunteers serve residents of Hancock County who are facing the end of life. Their Caring Hearts Bereavement Program provides hope that encourages and renews the spirit of people who have experienced the death of a loved one.
