Article: $1.7 million school budget heads to voters in SAD 14 Gasoline, operating costs spur $42,000 increase

DANFORTH - Voters in SAD 14 will be asked to give the nod to a school budget of more than $1.7 million during the district's annual budget meeting June 15.

Superintendent William Dobbins said Friday that this year's fiscal forecast had increased about $42,000 over last year.

The district consists of the towns of Weston and Danforth.

Dobbins attributed the hike to factors that are affecting school districts across the nation.
