President Bush continues to reward his top fund-raisers in the
manner in which campaign bankrollers have become accustomed - with
ambassadorial posts.
The latest in line is Joseph Gildenhorn, a $100,000 contributor,
who is expected to be nominated to be ambassador to Switzerland.
Gildenhorn is president of JGB Cos., a local real estate
development, renovation, management and consulting firm. Gildenhorn,
along with his wife, chaired the District effort to raise money for
Bush and is responsible for recruiting several local businessmen to
the GOP cause.
