Article: NMCC expects to meet $2M fundraising goal

PRESQUE ISLE - Northern Maine Community College officials are nearing the four-month mark of a one-year campaign to raise $2 million, and with the response they've been getting they said they expect to raise the funds ahead of schedule.

The Campaign for the County's College has raised about $329,000 so far, including $72,475 in community gifts, $127,000 from the NMCC community, and $130,000 in "lead gifts" from Maine businesses and organizations.
