It is difficult to say how the growth of high school lacrosse in
the Washington area will affect Landon Coach Rob Bordley's program.
Bordley's Landon teams have dominated area high school lacrosse
since 1978, compiling a 120-30 record, including a 25-game winning
streak that is still alive. And with a record number of teams in the
area this season, Landon will be challenged to stay on top.
The growth has reached the point that the Washington Area
Lacrosse League has been replaced by the 42-team Lacrosse Foundation,
Potomac Chapter, which consists of the Interstate Athletic
Conference, the Metro Conference, the Tri-County League and the
